*Priority registration will be given to members until April 15th. Non-members will be able to sign up April 16th if space is still available. You may register for all of the summer sessions at one time.
*Class fees are based on a two week Monday -Thursday session. All of the sessions (except session 2) will consist of 8 classes . Session 2 will only be one week.(4 classes)
*We do not offer make up classes if your child is not able to attend all classes.
*Registration may be done at the club, or by phone. Payment is due in FULL at the time of registration for both members and/or non-members. All fees are non-refundable.
*Participants must wear non-marking shoes, shorts/pants/skirts with pockets, and provide their own racquet.
*If you have any questions regarding which level would be appropriate for your child,or if they have not participated in a class for more than 3 months, you will need to set up a free evaluation. please contact the front desk to set up a FREE evaluation. Summer evaluations are on Thursdays at 4pm. call to register for evaluation. CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Tiny Hitters/ Big Hitters: For those starting to play the game. Emphasis will be on the basics of tennis; ground strokes and volleys.
Intermediate Beginners: For juniors who are hitting with more pace and consistency. Continued emphasis on the fundamentals of all shots, including the serve and overhead.
Intermediate: Players must be able to serve, as they will begin playing the game of tennis. They will work on consistency, learn court positioning, and introduce match play.
Intermediate Advanced: Introduction to match play. More emphasis on serves and returns.
JV: For those who can serve and play out points on a consistent basis. Also for players who will be entering junior high and high school tennis. Instruction will focus on continued stroke development, match performance and conditioning.
High School: For players who play on a high school varsity team. They can sustain long rallies and have developed some weapons and strategies. Practice and tournament play outside the group is necessary to play at this level.
